How we built KlarvoEngine
We didn't start by writing software. We started by reading the law.
Every article, recital, and annex of Regulation 2024/1689. Every implementing act and piece of guidance the European AI Office has published since February 2025 — the prohibited-practices clarifications, the GPAI Code of Practice, the content-marking code.
Then we encoded it. The full legal text, the cross-regulation interplay (GDPR, DSA, DORA, MDR), 70+ worked classification scenarios for the borderline edge cases that checklists can't reach, eight industry-specific frameworks.
KlarvoEngine doesn't guess. It maps your AI system against the legal text and tells you — with article citations — exactly where you stand and what to do next.
Why we exist
Most SMEs affected by the EU AI Act don't know they're affected. The compliance industry's answer to that is expensive consultants, enterprise platforms priced for Fortune 500s, and 200-page guidance documents in legal jargon.
We built Klarvo because the SME deserves better. The wedge is buyability: published prices, three tiers, no sales call, no enterprise discovery process. A founder buys it, gets a result that afternoon, and gets back to running the business.
That is the entire product strategy: depth in the engine, restraint in the surface.
