Pricing questions
Why per AI system, not per seat? +
The number of AI systems you operate is the one number you actually know about yourself, and it scales with your real compliance load. Per-seat pricing punishes teams for letting more people see the work. We don't.
What counts as one AI system? +
A discrete AI use case — for example, your customer-facing chatbot, your CV-screening tool, your translation service. If you use the same vendor's API for three different products with different purposes, that's three systems.
Can I change plans later? +
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or switch billing periods any time from Settings → Billing. Stripe prorates everything so you only pay for what you use.
Is there a long-term contract? +
No. Month-to-month or annual, no lock-in. Cancel any time with one click in the Stripe customer portal.
What happens if I exceed my AI-system limit? +
The platform politely blocks you from adding the next system and surfaces the upgrade path inline — not via email a week later. Existing systems and evidence stay accessible.
Do you offer a free trial of the paid plans? +
The Free plan is permanent (1 AI system, full classification) — that's a better deal than a 14-day trial because you keep your data forever. When you hit the limit, the paid tier starts; we don't artificially time-bomb you.
Are there any add-ons? +
One. The Provider Pack (€149/mo) for organisations that put their own AI on the EU market — conformity assessments, CE marking, Annex IV technical docs. It's surfaced in-app only when KlarvoEngine detects your role is provider, not deployer. Most SMEs never need it.
