Activity Feed & Audit Trail

How Klarvo's activity feed and audit trail work — every action logged, every change tracked, providing full accountability and transparency for compliance governance.

Activity Feed & Audit Trail

Every significant action in Klarvo is logged. The Activity Feed provides real-time visibility into what's happening across your compliance program. The Audit Trail provides the permanent, immutable record needed for regulatory compliance.

  • Each entry shows:

  • What happened: "Evidence approved"
  • Who did it: User name and role
  • When: Timestamp
  • What entity: AI system name, evidence title, etc.
  • Details: Additional context (e.g., "Classification changed from Minimal to High-Risk Candidate, reason: vendor added biometric features")
  • Audit Log

  • Date range: Specific time periods

  • The export includes all filtered entries with full detail
  • Why It Matters

The audit trail serves multiple purposes:

  • Regulatory compliance: Demonstrates who made what decisions, when, and why
  • Internal accountability: Ensures team members follow procedures
  • Incident investigation: Reconstruct what happened before an incident
  • Change tracking: See how classifications, evidence, and controls evolved over time
  • Best Practices

📊 Review regularly: Check the activity feed weekly for unexpected changes
🔍 Investigate anomalies: Unusual activity patterns may indicate process issues
📋 Export before audits: Include audit log excerpts in your governance pack
🔒 Immutable: The audit trail cannot be edited or deleted — this is by design for compliance integrity
