Data Export & Privacy
As a compliance tool, Klarvo takes data protection seriously. This guide covers how your data is stored, how to export it, and your privacy controls.

Data Export
You can export your data at any time:
Full Data Export
Navigate to Settings → Data Export & Privacy
Click Export All Data
Klarvo generates a ZIP containing:
- AI system records (JSON/CSV)
- Evidence files (original format)
- Classification records (JSON)
- Audit log (CSV)
- Training records (CSV)
- Vendor records (JSON)
- Task history (CSV)
Download link sent via email (large exports may take time)
Selective Export
Export specific data types:
AI System Inventory (CSV)
Evidence files (ZIP)

Training Records (CSV)
Vendor Registry (CSV)
Data Retention

Privacy Settings
Navigate to Settings → Data Export & Privacy:
AI Assistant Privacy: Control whether AI features process your data (see AI Privacy Settings)
Analytics: Opt in/out of anonymous usage analytics
Data Processing: View your DPA with Klarvo
Your Rights Under GDPR
As Klarvo processes your data, you have the right to:

| Erasure | Delete individual records or request account closure |
| Portability | Use the Full Data Export (machine-readable formats) |
| Restriction | Contact support to restrict specific processing |
| Objection | Contact support to object to specific processing |
Account Closure
To close your account and delete all data:
Export your data first (recommended)
Navigate to Settings → Data Export & Privacy
Click Request Account Closure
Confirm via email
Data is deleted within 30 days (audit logs retained per regulatory requirements)
