Understanding the Dashboard

A comprehensive guide to the Klarvo dashboard — every metric, chart, alert, and widget explained with practical guidance on how to interpret and act on your compliance data.

Dashboard Overview

The Klarvo Dashboard is your compliance command center, providing real-time visibility into your EU AI Act readiness across every AI system in your organization.

Key Metrics

AI Systems Count

The headline metric shows total AI systems in your inventory, broken down by classification:

ClassificationWhat It MeansWhat You Should Do
Minimal RiskNo specific EU AI Act obligations beyond good practiceDocument for completeness; apply internal governance
Limited RiskTransparency obligations apply (Article 50)Implement required disclosures; upload notice evidence
High-Risk CandidateFull deployer duties under Article 26Complete all deployer controls, oversight plans, FRIA if applicable
BlockedPotential prohibited practice flagged under Article 5Stop use immediately; escalate to legal review
Needs ReviewQuick Capture systems awaiting full classificationPrioritize completing their KlarvoEngine classification

Systems showing "Needs Review" are the most common gap — they represent Quick Capture entries that haven't been fully classified yet. The dashboard prominently counts these so you can schedule completion.

Audit Readiness Score

This composite percentage reflects your overall compliance health, calculated from four dimensions:

  • Evidence Completeness (25%): Percentage of required evidence artifacts uploaded and approved across all systems
  • Control Implementation (25%): Percentage of applicable controls marked "Implemented" with linked evidence
  • Task Completion (25%): Percentage of auto-generated and manual compliance tasks completed on time
  • Training Coverage (25%): Percentage of staff assigned to AI-operating roles who have completed required AI literacy training
  • 🎯 Benchmark: Aim for 80%+ to be considered audit-ready. Most organizations start at 15–30% and reach 70%+ within 6–8 weeks of active use.

    Compliance Trend Chart

A 12-month trend line tracking your Audit Readiness Score over time. Use it to:

  • Identify regression (score drops after staff changes or new systems added)
  • Demonstrate improvement to leadership or auditors
  • Set quarterly improvement targets
  • Charts & Visualizations

    Risk Distribution Chart

Pie chart showing AI system breakdown by risk level. If your portfolio is heavily weighted toward high-risk, consider whether all classifications are accurate — over-classification is common when users select "Unsure" on screening questions.

    Department Risk Heatmap

Matrix view showing departments (rows) against risk levels (columns). Helps you identify which business units carry the most compliance burden and may need dedicated system owners or additional training.

    Alerts & Action Items

The Compliance Alerts panel surfaces the most urgent items:

  • Upcoming Deadlines: Evidence renewals within 30 days, scheduled review dates
  • ⚠️ Missing Evidence: Controls marked "Implemented" but lacking linked evidence
  • 🔄 Reassessment Needed: Systems flagged for re-review due to material changes, incidents, or vendor updates
  • 📋 Overdue Tasks: Past-due action items with escalation indicators
  • 🎓 Training Gaps: Staff operating AI systems without completed AI literacy training
  • Each alert links directly to the relevant system, control, or task so you can take action immediately.
