Organization Settings
Organization settings define your company's profile and compliance configuration in Klarvo. These settings affect template language, recommendation relevance, and export branding.
Accessing Settings
Navigate to Settings → General in the sidebar.
Organization Profile
| Organization Name | Your legal entity name | Appears on all exports and reports |
| Industry Sector | Primary industry (dropdown) | Tailors risk recommendations and template language |
| Company Size | Employee count range | Affects training program recommendations |
| Country | Primary country of operation | Determines relevant national authority |
| EU Presence | EU member states where you operate | Affects which AI Act deadlines and authorities apply |
| Description | Brief company description | Included in governance pack exports |
Compliance Configuration
| Default Review Cadence | How often AI systems should be reviewed (default: 90 days) |
| Evidence Approval Required | Whether evidence requires formal approval before counting |
| Training Refresh Period | Default re-certification interval (default: 12 months) |
| Governance Charter | Upload or generate your AI governance charter |
Export Branding
Customize how your exports look:
Organization Logo: Uploaded for export headers
Confidentiality Default: Default marking for exports (Internal / Shareable)
Document Footer: Custom text for export footers
Department/Team Configuration
Manage the department list used across the platform:
Go to Settings → General → Departments
Add, rename, or remove departments
These appear as options in the AI System Wizard, filters, and reports
Default departments: Engineering, Product, HR, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Customer Success, IT, Other.

🔄 Review annually: Organization settings should be reviewed at least annually
